Established
since 1976, in the city of Amparo/SP, in a 300 m2. shed for the production
of diamond grindstones for the export and domestic markets.
The manufacture operations only started in 1979. That same year the
whole diamond grindstone production was exported to Germany. The German
know how made the products accepted in the international market and
the introduction in the domestic market confirmed the high technology
and quality.
In 1983, already established in their owned headquarters, placed in
a 40,000 m2 land with a 2,500 m2, of built area, the company started
producing in parallel to grindstones the assembly and manufacture
of optical equipment, with the “automatic facet cutter”
as the main product with the same "made in Germany" technology.
The ophthalmic lenses facet cutters soon won the domestic market,
revolutionizing a sector that was totally dependent of imported equipment.
The conquer of the market was soon recognized in South America where
to the present the company sells their products in countries as Argentina,
Uruguay and Chile.
As a consolidation of the “INGO” brand is the realization
that the market has purchased close to 1,500 machines manufactured
by “INGO” over the last 15 years. The diamond grindstones
totaled 40,000 units produced.
This performance allows Ingo to further invest in the future domestic
and international markets, constantly improving quality and aiming
at new challenges as well as competing with the top products offered
in the optical market.
